Description
Clean Air Spaces ductFIT®100 — laboratory-tested CAS photocatalytic technology that substantially reduces smell, gases, smoke, formaldehyde, benzene, VOCs, viruses, bacteria and mould, both in the air and on surfaces. It installs discreetly inside a duct or plenum and requires no cleaning — a low-maintenance way to build continuous disinfection into any HVAC system. A single ductFIT100 covers up to 100 m².
Effective · Proven · Safe. Because ductFIT generates gas-phase oxidising molecules (hydroxyl radicals, superoxide ions and low-level hydrogen peroxide), they travel with the airflow through the whole duct system and into the room — reaching surfaces, coils and duct interiors that filters and UV lamps never touch. Independent lab testing (Laboratorios Himalaya, 2021) recorded up to 99.95% reduction of Aspergillus mould and 99.41% of HPV over 8 hours.

How it works
- UV + catalyst: a UV source activates a multi-metal catalyst inside the cell.
- Oxidisers generated: reacting with oxygen and water vapour in the passing air, it produces hydroxyl radicals, superoxide ions and gas-phase hydrogen peroxide.
- Air + surfaces treated: these molecules travel with the airflow through the ducts and into the room, disinfecting the air and settling on surfaces, coils and duct interiors.
- Clean breakdown: the hydrogen peroxide reverts to water and oxygen — no residue, nothing to wipe down.

Installation
Fits into any HVAC system directly into the plenum or above the air handler. An approximate 4″ (10.16 cm) opening is cut into the ductwork, which must be clean and dry for a proper seal. Runs from the included 24V transformer — extra-low-voltage and safe to site in a ceiling or roof space. We can advise on installers Australia-wide.
