The Enhance-Ion is Fresh-Aire UV’s next-generation bipolar filtration enhancing ionizer for residential ducted air conditioning. It installs inside your ductwork and uses bipolar ionisation to dramatically improve the particle-capture rate of your existing HVAC filter — without any need to replace the filter or upgrade to HEPA. Independently lab-tested to capture 38% more fine particles when paired with a standard MERV 7 filter, and effective on contaminants down to PM2.5.

How It Works
Enhance-Ion emits positive and negative ions into the airstream as it passes through your ductwork. These ions attach to airborne particles — dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander, traffic pollution — causing them to clump together into larger particles your standard filter can easily capture. The result is dramatically cleaner air delivered to every room your ducted system reaches, with no change to your existing filter or maintenance schedule.

Important: Professional Installation Required
The manufacturer specifies that Enhance-Ion must be installed by a licensed HVAC or electrical contractor. Installation involves wiring the supplied transformer to your ducted air handling unit — regulated electrical work in Australia. Self-installation will void your warranty.
If you don’t already have an HVAC contractor lined up, our authorised resellers can supply and install as a package, or you can use your own qualified contractor and we’ll supply the kit directly.
Sizing Guidance
